“The crowds in the stands were cheering wildly as their teams fought for the winning points. Suddenly one of the players fumbled the football. Another player scooped it up and began running toward the goal line. However, his teammates’ excitement quickly turned to dismay as they watched him run toward the opponents’ goal line!
“In the scramble he became disoriented and actually ran the wrong way. This Rose Bowl blunder earned this player the nickname ‘Wrong Way Riegel.’
“Running with all your might towards the wrong goal (or no goal) will not result in success.”
Most of these people were ordinary people in almost every respect, but what set them apart was a deep-seated, burning desire to not let life pass them by and just become another person that was born, “lived” and died without leaving their mark in the world or a strong legacy for those who came after them that would inspire future generations.
No. This group wouldn’t have it play out like that. They would make sure that they went after a life that, at the end of the road… when they looked back to think about their choices, their actions and their results they would be able to say: “I’m glad I did…”, instead of “I wish I had…”
They would not let themselves become victims of their circumstances. They would not blame other people or situations for their poor choices in life. They would not complain about which side of the tracks they were born in. They would not allow their gender, age, color of their skin, place of birth, education level, physical abilities or disabilities, upbringing, family structure or anything else dictate what they could or could not do, what they could or could not accomplish or who they could or could not become… so they did, accomplished and became even more than what they initially set out to do, accomplish and become.
They are going through life on “auto-pilot” until 20, 30, 40 years go by and they realize that life has passed them by and they have very little to show for.
And, I’m not just talking about their estate and what they’re leaving behind as an inheritance to their children. I’m also talking about their legacy in terms of service, compassion, and contribution to the world’s most needy.
The great news is that it doesn’t matter how young or how old you are. Life does not truly pass us by until we breathe our last breath. So, if you’re still breathing, you can choose to take your life in any direction.
“When you have the right attitude, you can do the remarkable.
“When you recognize your gifts, you can change anything for yourself that you wish to change. If you don’t like how something is going for you, change it. If something isn’t enough, change it. If something doesn’t suit you; change it. If something doesn’t please you, change it. You don’t ever have to be the same after today. If you don’t like your present address, change it—you’re not a tree!”
The answer is simple, as I will talk more in-depth about the subject in my eBook, what I’ve discovered is that it is our philosophy about life that determines our actions, and our actions determine where we end up, for the most part.
It looks something like this:
Since I want you and I to get the greatest benefits possible out of the information about the strategies and techniques that the “Time and Money Masters” or “TMM’s” used to get exactly that, higher incomes while also having more free time, I feel that it is essential to understand the philosophies necessary to make the strategies and techniques that I talk about in other posts, audio programs and videos work.
Does that make sense?
It’s very much like preparing the ground so that when the seed is sown the chances of it bringing forth a strong tree with an abundance of sweet, juicy fruit are much greater.
So, this is a post that was designed to know and understand some of the main ways that the TMM’s think that makes it possible for them to do what they do.
Part 3 of my eBook, is where we’ll dive into the actual strategies, techniques and tools they use to put their automated money-making systems together.
With that in mind, let me ask you, in which direction are you running with the football right now?
Where do you want to end up, eventually?
In my post, One of the First Steps You Can Take to Design Your Ideal Life, I go into detail about one of the most important strategies they follow in order to get started on the path to achievement, excitement, time and financial freedom and contribution.
If you haven’t, yet, I strongly recommend that you check it out.
By the way, if you enjoyed this, it will mean a lot to me if you do me a favor and leave me your thoughts, questions, “aha” moments or any other comment in the space below. Thank you.
My wish for you is that you design a life of meaning, excitement and contribution.
